Learning Objective: You will leave with an understanding of the purpose behind Yoga Nidra. Also get to understand the profound art & science behind of the practice of YN. Teachers will learn how to confidently create a script & guide students into a deep state of consciously aware yogic sleep.

The Course Material will Cover:

  • Definitions of Yoga Nidra

  • History of Yoga Nidra

  • The Kosha Model – moving through the layers of the koshas

  • The purpose of Yoga Nidra

  • The purpose of sleep and it’s role in life

  • Four states of consciousness

  • Four aspects of the mind

  • Preparing for Yoga Nidra

  • Creating a Sankalpa

  • Creating a Yoga Nidra script

Course Outline: The focus will begin with a Yoga Nidra practice and how to intelligently script a practice. You will have the time to teach each other through a guided script.
